DogAddicts, I "fixed" it. Authors of blogs can edit them at anytime, so you should check yours out to see how it was done.
Videos on YouTube (and often other sites) will have an Embed code posted with them. To post the video here, you first must make sure that your blog is in "Edit HTML" mode and not "Compose" mode. There are tabs on the upper right of the composing window to select those. Select "Edit HTML," then copy the Embed code from YouTibe (or other site) and paste it in the HTML window of your blog, then publish it. That's it. The video should now appear in your blog.
Never worry about how a blog will appear - you can always go back and edit your blogs, or even delete them. Again, go to edit this blog, DA, and click on "Edit HTML." You'll see the Embed code from YouTube there.
Yep sheriff, thanks for clarifying it for me. I goofed. I forgot that the author can just plunk in the embed code. (I just do it automatically when I post...cuz you can)
The other site I linked to, and the code there, is helpful to create links when you are posting comments.
The default settings don't allow html in the comment section. I think I read it can be tweaked by the author of the blog. Personally, I prefer to leave my own as is. I don't want to login and find some obscene pics staring at me.
