Brooklyn Man Dies After Police Use a Taser Gun

"A naked and apparently emotionally disturbed man fell to his death from a building ledge in Brooklyn on Wednesday after an officer shot him with a Taser stun gun, the police said."

I dunno. Seems kind of cold to Taser him knowing that there's concrete ten feet below, but I'm not a cop and I wasn't there. Maybe the lesson is: don't threaten police with a fluorescent light tube.

While naked.

And climbing a fire escape.

  1. Hmmm....from the angle the taser gun was shot, was it the fall that killed him or the part of the body that got tased?

  4. After looking at the video again, it sure looks like he grabbed his crotch before he fell.

  5. I can't see the video, it is blocked here. Don't all men grab there when falling????

  6. Are all YouTube videos blocked?

Try going here http://www.nypost.com/ (it's a news site and shouldn't be blocked) and check out the video on the right.

And yes, all men grab there when falling, or standing, or sitting, or sleeping, or . . .

  7. Yes, all youtubes are blocked. I was able to see it on your alternative link, thanks. One would think the police would fully anticipate the results of using the taser. Wouldn't common sense say to not do that or to have something to catch him underneath if tasing was determined to be the best choice? Wow. Can you smell a family lawsuit? I'm pretty sure I can.

  8. Tasing a butt naked crazy guy on an awning (or whatever it was) was probably not the best choice. They could have bribed him with food when he got hungry or at this time of year, he eventually would have come down when it got cold enough and he started freezing his butt off. You're right KK, his family has undoubtedly gotten a dozen of calls from Raggum, Baggum, and Shaggum.
The guy was probably a Mets fan who went nuts after the Cubs beat them last night.
