Have you ever bought anything just for the fun of it?
Some of you may remember a blog on 'that other site'
that my husband did on eating utensils.
He is an avid fork person.
I am preferential to spoons.
I actually prefer the ever popular SPORK.
And guess what??
THEY MAKE THEM IN METAL!!!
I surfed for fun on EBay, and what do you know -
I found a good price with free shipping
and couldn't help myself.
When he saw the confirmation email,
he thought I was off my rocker, but I'm tickled with them!!!
That was a totally 'for fun buy'. What have you ever gotten

I used mine for supper much to his chagrin :)

and the really cool thing is that they fold!! I may bring mine Saturday just for fun too!!! :)
Plants, flowers and crazy colored shoes.... guilty as charged.
I go to secondhand stores for a variety of things, mostly clothing. When I go, I have to make sure that I get only what I need and get out. Otherwise, I wil bring home half the store because of all the great bargains.

When we were in Alaska my boys and I went into a tourist trap shop. We bought an absolutely useless item; a bullshit alarm (push a big red button and plays various "bullshit detected" warnings). The biggest laughs we go is when we packed it in our carry on bags. Every time we picked up the bag, it went off.
