I saw that also, but didn't post it. Turns out at least one death can be attributed (indirectly) to the LHC...an Indian girl committed suicide over fear of the LHC.

That's why science education and rational thinking are important.

That's sad. Pesticide? I guess it's hard to come by things to kill yourself with in India.

I agree with you hale-bopp, but I also enjoy the occasional skewed view.

That was an amazing video! It stopped one of my kids mid track past the computer and she stayed for the rest of the show.

That Blue Beauty vid was awesome! Gave me the goosebumps. It must be breathtaking to actually see Earth from outer space. Guess this is what astronauts live for.
