If I get the laundry done early enough, I was thinking of maybe going to the court hearings for those people accused of killing the 2-year-old. Sounds like it may be a circus, though, so probably not. People are really worked up.

Orbs, my foot is slowly getting better. I can now get around slowly with the robo-boot, and don't get to find out how it is doing til next Monday... I go back to work (limited) tomorrow and will be spending this week at least on my bar stool and off my foot.

Today I'm doing almost nothing other than keeping it elevated and sifting thru a bunch of stuff that's haunted me for a long time (reading stuff, doing thru stuff....)

The hummingbird thing, don't know how she did it, but got that in an email a year or so ago. I guess they're mellower and tamer wherever she is :)

Sooooo good to have today off, but still need another whole day to get stuff in order (haven't gotten to the laundry yet myself, orbs, boo:-( ... and I'm still sick, ack!
Daughter's car took a nosedive $4000 in repairs, so now girl has to be driven to the busstop and pay $$ for the bus (we're out of district), AND she's been a naughty, naughty girl so I've had to be the big bad mom (BIG time bad, hate that!). Ready to drown my sorrows *right now* in some two buck chuck, if only I didn't have spin class in an hour (never tried it with a buzz, might be fun...).
Maybe Tuesday will be better;-)

ok, the crutches are for UP TO 5'2"..., so I can either be really short or try stretching out to deal with his old ones - min 6'1"... I'm going to rough it and limp :)geez, who knew it would be this hard to be compatible!

AA, sorry I didn't get back until now. I think the hearing was scheduled for 1:30, Law Enforcement Center. I didn't go. Once I was at mom's to pick up her laundry, my day changed. (Older moms can have a tendency to do that.) Anyway, I'm glad I didn't go. I think it was morbid curiosity or something. Maybe some desire to take part in a village stoning. I don't know. The situation is just sick and sad.

LM, glad your doing better. Saw his crutches down. :P

cyndi, geez, $4K for car repair. I think my first car cost me $200.
