I don't care which person you vote for in November. If enough fraud is uncovered, you will never be sure if your choice really won or really lost. Ohio could very well decide the next President.
The same person who ran the Indiana ACORN registration drive that has been the subject of raids and identified registration fraud, is running the registration drives right here in Wisconsin.
Even though ACORN is supporting Obama, it was a Democrat in Indiana that blew the whistle on the fraudulent registrations. No one seems to be watching these folks in Milwaukee.
Voter registration needs to be taken back into an official government run process (City Hall, DMV, etc.) and out of the hands of these organizations.

THE LOCAL LIBRARY WILL TAKE VOTER REGISTRATIONS UNTIL 5 PM TONIGHT. PLEASE DONT BE AFRAID TO EXCERCIZE YOUR RIGHT TO VOTE. IN THESE TIMES WHO THE HELL WOULD WANT THE JOB OF BEING PRESIDENT, NOT ME!!!! BUT WE NEED TO VOICE OUR CHOICE REGARDLESS OF WHO YOU VOTE FOR. THERE IS TOO MUCH AT STAKE THIS ELECTION TO THINK YOUR VOTE WONT COUNT!!
This is gonna be a nasty one, isn't it? Why does all this sh*t have to come down at the last minute? Now the ads are getting really nasty, and really thick. I'm switching stations in the truck all the time because of the political ads.
I have to agree that the vote is our most sacred right. It should be treated accordingly. I do not think that a photo ID is an unbearable burden to place on someone in exchange for the right to vote. Why weren't people, on any side, registered months ago? Why now, when the tensions are rising and confusion takes over? Why at the last minute when there's no time to check the registrations?
From what little I understand at this point, we can also expect to be treated to the spectacle of all sorts of contested votes after the election. Some states are already saying they expect a mess.
We do a better job of providing for and the policing of the sale of alcoholic beverages than we do the vote.
Well, I know a lot of jokers that would use fictitious names just to be wise asses. Punk kids that find the growling by the old folks to ber hylarious. That said, The big problem with the zingers will be if they try to use them

Is it just me or does everything seem more corrupt and underhanded lately? Didn't Gore really beat Bush 8 years ago?
I can't even watch tv anymore. The political ads are so disgusting. Yes, we will probably have some "questions" as to the validity of the vote. I am so tired of it all....
But, I WILL stand in line and cast my vote. It is a privilege and a responsibility I don't take lightly. We still have the best system out there.
I'm writing in myself. For every office.
Maybe I'll just have a rubber stamp made.

With the good intent of making it easier, and ensuring that everyone eligible and entitled has a vote, our laws have cracks in them for those intent on corrupting the process are able to proceed. Through the years, many people have died to insure and protect the right to vote; be it our own war of Independence to the abolishment of the Jim Crow and Poll Tax Laws. It dishonors their sacrifice for the process to be corrupted and spoiled. Their are many around the world that can only dream of the concept of one person one vote since they will never have any vote of their own. Our elections were once the standard to be emulated. That is no longer true. We must strive to ensure those entitled have the unfettered exercise to cast their vote, while at the same time ensuring the integrity of your vote and my vote. We cannot become a society were the concept of winning regardless of the means and costs supercedes our basic foundation of free and honest elections.
I think I'm going to change my mind and vote for the plumber guy.
