The Milwaukee Public Museum's corpse flower is about to blossom. When it does, they say that the stink can travel for miles. I wonder if we'll be able to smell it in Racine?

From what I have heard, it smells like rancid, rotted meat. People line up to see/smell them. There are many of these monsters... don't be fooled that this is your only opportunity to see something rare. There is one ready to bloom almost all the time.
I'll pass. Not only does this "flower" smell awful, it isn't very attractive either. I can barely drive past Oakes Landfill each morning.
Oh Great! Just what Milwaukee needs! Another stench coming from the city! It isn't bad enough they have the tannery and County Board stinking up the place.......
I remember the yeasty smell near the breweries. And what is/was the name of that chocolate factory?
Ambrosia. It was next to the Wonder Bread bakery and on a hot day the two of them mixed along with the Pabst brewery. P.U.
that flower is not looking too good, I think IT turned into the corpse...
I read it fell over. They are not sure it will bloom.
Ambrosia...... didn't Jeffrey Dalhmer work there?
Yeah, looks like it's kaput: http://www.jsonline.com/news/milwaukee/34151284.html
