I just got a phone call from a friend in Iowa,
he just heard on the radio that gas in
either North or South Dakota jumped from
$1.98 a gallon to just over $3.
(I can never keep my Dakota's straight..)
He called to warn me it would probably happen here
in the near future, I said I would pass it on,
for whatever it's worth.
I'm filling up just to be safe!
I just filled up a few days ago. I should go out and drive around until my tank is empty so that I can save some money, too.
ReplyDeleteI've been a happy hermit since the youngest got her license, I go to work and home, occasionally to the store but avoid driving so I don't have to visit the gas station much at all, Orbs, you crack me up :) You can drive the BUS!! we're not sure who was driving at last check :)
ReplyDeleteFilled up yesterday with premium @ 2.46 here in Florida. Haven't checked today....
ReplyDeleteWhen I bought this car, I didn't realize it took premium until I went to gas up and there on the gas cap 'use premium.' I normally mix premium and mix grade and do fine.
This is the first time in a long time that it cost me less than $50 to fill 'er up!
We are down to $1.95 today. A barrel of oil dropped again today so maybe we will see it drop even lower.
ReplyDeleteAt least something in the economy is heading in the right direction.
This is the only benefit I see from the economic meltdown, and I'm not even sure if that's why it's happening.
