Christmas Shopping for Teenage GIRLS

I need your help. I have two teenage girls (eeeeek) coming down for Christmas...13 and almost 16. I have arranged for them to havae their hair cut, styled and colored and a manicure as their main gift. I would, however, like to get them a little something extra, like spend about $30/each....any suggestions from the Moms out there. Remember I am the famous Aunt B, so it must be cool.

Part of the problem is I am not too happy with some of the really revealing stuff out there for young girls.....I have been to Hollisters, Aerosphate (or whatever the world that one is) and some other joint that sounds like an ice cream sundae, as well as Dillards, and Macy's, Old Navy.

I guess I must remain
Clueless in Florida.

teenagers are difficult, give up on surprising them, give them the money and take them to a mall. I would say it has to be something other than clothing if you're concerned, or have them get your approval. If they're like my girls, I have WAY more fun bumming the mall while they head another direction and tell me when it's over :)

They do NOT have any malls near where they live in Albion, Il...Remember the Pork Capital of the world and the home of little Miss Pork! You are not threatening me with going to the mall right after Christmas, are you? EEEEK...last week, a guy in one of those scooters tried to run me down...my leg is still black and blue.

Anything Hanna Montana (or is it Idaho) is a safe bet.

Beejay, sounds like he was trying to sweep you off your feet! (obviously wasn't very good at it tho...)

Oh, the last guy that tried to sweep me off my feet, is some sort of minister (oh Lord save me) and brought me two half dead poinsettias (is that spelled right)...I think he thought those were flowers...I hate those...I buy them for Christmas, put them on my planter wall and then toss them in my woods...I want all of you down on your knees praying that he finds someone else to save...why me....oh, why me.

How about buying them some downloads for their I pods? I think you can get something like gift cards for them.

I thought of the i-tune cards...my nephew says his system at home is not good and they lose the ability to download...but maybe I should do it anyway and they cld do it while they are here??? Right???
