Remembering John Lennon

Twenty-Eight years ago today passed away one of the greatest musicians the world has ever known,John Lennon. We all know John for being an accomplished singer, songwriter, and musician. He also tried to bring peace into this world. I loved his music with the Beatles as well as his solo career. He may be gone, but his words and music are not forgotten. Here's one of my favorites...Imagine. Enjoy!

Hard to believe it's been 28 yrs. I still remember where I was when I heard the news.

That one, and Woman are two of my favorites.

I often sit wonder what would have happened to him if he didnt die that day. What path in life would he have taken, where would he be now that he would have been in his 60s. He was a fascinating man.

As much flak Yoko got for breaking up the Beatles he truly loved her. It's not often that you see that.

I still can't believe this happened to him. I'll never forget that Monday night; talk about disbelief when hearing that news.
Can you imagine the music he still had in him; sadly silenced forever.

Hard to fathom that it has been so many years ago. It is also hard to believe such a violent thing happened to such a peace loving man.

The world would still be corrupt and violent if he was still around, but there would be one more voice "speaking words of wisdom".

It amazes me how Governments, Armies, Societies and Movements struggle to change the course of history, but one nutball can do it in an instant.

Thanks everybody for their kind comments. Yes,I've wondered what it would it be like if John Lennon was still around. Hopefully, still trying to spread peace.

Thanks for the video drew, takes you back to another era. I still have a **huge crush** on Paul. Saw him in Chicago with Wings a decade, well, at least two decades ago. What a show!!! I was totally absorbed the whole concert.
