Dangerous Path
El Caminito del Rey is a walking path located in southern Spain near the town of Alora. This path built, in 1901, was used to transport materials and for the inspection and maintence of the channel between two hydroelectric powerplants. The walkway was finished in 1905. Since then, the walkway fell into disrepair, providing a homeage for some thrillseekers. Some have died taking this path.

ReplyDeleteNot for me... I walked across a very high bridge over the Mississippi one time. Scared the you-know-what out of me and there was a chain link fence keeping me from falling. Even the Golden Gate Bridge didn't scare me as much as that.
