I received an email tonight regarding a survey by two different magazines. Reading the results, they were interesting, to say the least..
The topic was, 'WHAT DO PEOPLE FEAR MOST?'
Country Living top three answers were:
1. Nuclear war/terrorist attack in U.S.
2. Child/spouse dying/terminal illness.
3. Terminal illness/self.
Ebony/JET's top three answers were:
1. Ghosts
2. Dogs
3. Registered mail
After reading the results, I thought, HELL NO...ghosts, dogs....
I had to check with Snopes.Com for verification. The survey is False, it’s a fake.
Then I thought to myself, “What are mine”? So here they are:
1. Someone intentionally hurting my kids or someone I love.
(They would pay dearly...trust me on that.)
2. The monsters under my bed.
(For real, they’re there.)
3. Snakes

Mine are:
Becoming unable to care for myself...let me die instantly, okay. I do not fear death itself.
Becoming financially dependent upon someone else.
Having to pull the plug on another person whom I love.
SER, I think I am over the snakes; I don't like them, but I now know how to combat them.
I agree beejay. I think the worst would be to remain mentally competent but be terminally unable to function. To just sit and sit and have to rely on someone to do simple things knowing it would never get any better would make me absolutely mad.
You mean you don't want to find a sugar daddy, beejay? Might not be so bad? ;>
SER, being a mom, I can eradicate those monsters. I have lots of practice... Now real live snakes? I would be OUT OF THERE very quickly!
My biggest fear is that God really does have a good excuse for all of this.
kk, a Sugar Daddy wouldn't be so bad...I just don't ever want to depend upon having one. I would hate having to ask permission to buy (fill in the blank!)
Mine are :
1.Kids never get jobs and live with me forever!
2.Prohabition being reinstated!
3.For real small spaces.............................................................Beejay.please if you find a sugar daddy make sure he has a single brother for me!
My fears
1)Being totally alone-it's nice to know someone's watching your back.
2)I literally freak out in caves.
3)Being financially dependent on somebody.
Drew, you will never be alone....you got us, babe!
Thanks,Beejay. It helps:)
St. Mary's
Nursing Homes
The day Mom dies.
The rest is a piece of cake. You have to remember I'm the guy that loved to jump out of planes. Adrenalin is my drug of choice.
As far as my choices though, I'll never go back to St. Mary's, and been in two nursing homes for convalescence after heart attacks. Neither nursing home was what I called a good experience, and I'm surprised living people manage to walk out of St. Mary's after a stay.
Mom is the strength in our family even though she's almost 81.
Wow huck. I'm pretty certain you nailed it.
