SLINGER -- A Washington County Sheriff's Deputy's squad car flipped over and landed on its roof early Sunday morning. Authorities believe the slippery, icy condition of Highway 41 after hours of sleet and freezing rain may have caused the vehicle to flip.
As for the deputy, he reportedly had to be pulled out of his car but has only minor injuries.
He was responding to a motorist in the ditch when the accident happened. The deputy is a seven year veteran of the Washington County Sheriff's Department.
It is unknown if speed and alcohol could have been factors in the crash.
Oh, I just could not resist adding that! They do it for everyone else.

I know a guy who spun out on ice on 6 Mile Rd. and ended up in a ditch. No injuries, but he couldn't get the truck out. The responding officer also spun out and got stuck in the same ditch. He then ticketed the guy I know for driving too fast for conditions. When my friend asked the officer if he was going to ticket himself for the very same "offense," he only got a dirty look in reply.
Yup, do as I say, not as I do.
