Ben Hughes Resigns

This "reporter" was given an exclusive over the weekend concerning Racine City
Administrator Ben Hughes. I was told that he would be going down next. There were also some very nasty insinuations made about his role in the Becker scandal, but I have no proof of said allegations, so I'll keep them to myself for now.

  1. Scooped the Journal Times and the Racine Post, and we're not even a news source...

Leaders of Racine listen: we are fed up. We are now talking to each other. Next, we take action. Stop the lies!

  3. And stick that roundabout where the moon don't shine. There's nude beaches all over Europe, too, so does North Beach go clothing optional? European roads and driving are completely different from ours - you're applying a DC solution to an AC system.

There is an absolute crisis of leadership in Racine. Our "leaders" are mired in filth while distracting us with Becker BS pie-in-the-sky programs. CLEAN HOUSE NOW!

  4. "In a two-sentence letter, City Administrator Ben Hughes resigned this morning.

    "The letter reads:

    "Dear Mayor Friedel,

"I am writing to resign my position as City Administrator effective February 16, 2009. I wish to thank you, the City Council, the City employees, and the residents of Racine for their support during my tenure.

    "Sincerely,

    "Benjamin M. Hughes"

  5. "Mayor" Friedel: "I was well aware when I accepted this appointment to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of former Mayor Gary Becker that there were personnel issues at City Hall that would need my attention. This is one that I did not anticipate."

But an idiot like me blogging from his living room did know. What does that say about Racine's leadership?

  6. If Hughes was concerned with giving the city a "fresh start," as he claims, he would wait until the mayoral election instead of deserting his post in the midst of a crisis. Much more here than meets the eye. Stay tuned.

    "Who let the dogs out?"
