NASA's program to produce the next generation of manned rockets has been named Constellation. These rockets are designed to take us back to the Moon.
Work is well underway and highlighted in this week's Big Picture. My favorite image shows the upgraded lightning supression system at Launch Complex 39.
I am really looking forward to seeing hardware for the Ares V, the big one they are building.

Isn't the Aries project the one with disgruntled engineers saying it isn't as safe as it could/should be?
I can't help but wonder how much the ex-Seattle grunge band member in photo 15 is making an hour putting decals on stuff. "Dude, like I'm workin' for NASA, dude! Far out!"
Very cool pictures, thanks hale!
I was wondering about picture #27... So for down time, they play frogger and Ms. Pacman? Or, were those the new voting machines to be put in place in Florida to prevent the reoccurance of hanging chads?
Yes, there was a faction of engineers not happy with the design. References were made to it in the video on my Dilbert Goes to NASA blog.
