Happy Squre Root Day
That would be today, 03/03/09, when the day and the month are both the square root of the year. The next one will be 04/04/16, so enjoy it while it lasts!
I would say, good thing it didn't hit (thought about blogging that one, but haven't gotten around to it yet). Wouldn't have been a global killer or anything, but could have done some serious damage in a populated area.
Oooh, beejay always has a good time. I am upset with Mdm Zoltar for not warning me about:
1. the beer...I should have remembered that one. 2. that I sort of can dance, but shouldn't in public. 3. that I have way too much fun without provocation. 4. I love the beach. 5. I love people in general. 6. My hotel would try to send me with my party (3 other women) to another hotel...where, of course, we were the entertainment. Then sent us back, where again, we were the entertainment. I think they all wanted us and tried to share with each other! 7. And most importantly me saying "I'll never see these people again," and finding out they are going to be in Siesta Key next week and want to get together with me! Oh-oh. 8. And lastly, American Airlines would try and strand us in Barbados!
Did I have fun...oh definitely, kk. I'd go again in a heart beat!
Barbados is not a bad place to be stranded. I had a ball there many years ago. Harrison's Cave, Flower Forest, the Wildlife Refuge and snorkeling a shipwreck in the harbor.
I'm waiting for 12/12/2144.
ReplyDeleteHappy square root day to you too! How do we celebrate?
ReplyDeleteWith root beer, of course, kk!
ReplyDeleteAnd with a slice of pi.
ReplyDeleteDon't get ahead of yourself, Drew. March 14th (3/14) is pi day.
ReplyDeleteHale, what you have to say about the astroid that sped by earth today???
ReplyDeleteWelcome back, Beejay! :) Did you have a good time?
