When did they start to predict this one? I didn't remember it being in the forecast. I thought they had some "flurries" out there for saturday. Dang...
If your chipmunk takes off southward, orbs, you can come and gather up some of the "rat critters" around my house. The yard is full of holes.
I'm sitting here staring at green grass and leaves on the trees while listening to the weatherman say we are going to get 4-7 inches down here. Isn't this supposed to happen in the winter? Oh well, I'll take the snow instead of the flooding those poor people in N Dakota and Minnesota are getting.
Omg, studded snow tires. I remember those. They tore the hell out of the streets and highways. When they made them illegal, my dad took his (just the two for the back) to a "destudding" service.
Now they're talking about 1 to 3 inches of snow tomorrow night.

ReplyDeleteI think the only reason they color Easter Eggs is so you can find them in the snow!
ReplyDeleteI remember when May 15 was the day you HAD to take off your studded snow tires but after a big storm the date was changed to April 15.

I remember my dad pulling them out with a pliers in the basement.
ReplyDeleteRemember snow chains? My dad never had them, but neighbors did.
ReplyDeleteOrbs are you the same age as me? I remember the chains also. I helped my husband put them on our truck. You could go anywhere with those.
ReplyDeleteNo anon, orbs is REALLY, REALLY, REALLY old! :>
ReplyDeleteI can say that, I remember snow chains too. I think my dad still had them, but I don't remember him actually using them? :(
