The city of San Francisco is being sued by the family of a Father and two sons who were allegedly murdered by an illegal alien. They claim the city's sanctuary policy contributed to the deaths. It turns out this lowlife had previously been arrested twice for gang related activities, but the local law enforcement do not report them to ICE.

When I was brought up, I was taught that all people are created equal and that we all live in a society governed by laws. Today, though, there are different rules for different people. The only people who have to obey all the laws anymore are taxpayers - others can make their own deal with the government.
The saddest part is that contacting ICE probably would not have prevented this. ICE just deports the illegals and then they sneak right back in.
The "rights" of people to be here illegally outweigh born citizens' rights.
After confirming this morning that the taxpayers of Racine are going to pay for a bus to transport private citizens to jobs in private industry in another state, I care less and less.
I'm pretty sure now that I'm going to purchase a gun. I have a buddy who knows firearms inside out and I will be talking to him about it. I NEVER thought I'd be doing this, but it's now obvious that our "representatives" do not give a damn about the Constitution of the United States of America. It's time to cover our own asses.

When the powers that be allow or ignore behavior, it becomes the acceptable norm. I can't blame the family for trying to do something to initiate change.

You know what gets me? Remember Parkland Hospital in Dallas where JFK died? Now its a hospital that helps the poor. There was a mexican woman (illegal) giving birth and all the hospital required was for her to pay $10. She didn't have it. Didn't have $10 but was having a baby. Hmm.
I honestly wish someone would do a study as to how much we are spending in health care to illegals or for that matter all these single women who keep coming up pregnant even though its 2009 and we have how many forms of birth control out there? How much money is being spent on that kind of welfare? I wonder how many Americans who are in debt to their eyeballs in order to provide health care for a sick child as their benefits have maxed out or isn't covered?
We are spending millions on irresponsible people and some who are criminals (illegals).
For God's sake, how much are we spending for Octomoms kids?
Don't get me wrong, there are a lot of people who have lost their jobs and need help and we should be helping them.
I guess I am just sick and tired of paying $850 a month in health insurance and finding out "thats not covered", but yet people who refuse to help themselves are basically being told "sure, we'll help with that".
Sorry for the rant, but like Orbs, sometimes enough is enough.
