Lets all be totally honest........and frank.
My happiest day was the first day I dropped my youngest of at school for 1st grade!!!!!!!!!!
Both kids in school all day.
Yeah Yeah Yeah I know the day they where born was cool for me too but remember I was in some pain that day too.
The day I got married.NOT AT ALL.I cryed that day.( I should have known huh)
OK Your turn!
It's a secert!!!
ReplyDeleteAnother was the x-mas I got a shotgun as a gift. A nice Remington 12 gauge pump.
The day in 1978 when I was 39 and I got my first car (used) IN MY OWN NAME. I could go anywhere I wanted all by myself. My dad told my brother to find me a car and luxury was not an option! :-)
ReplyDeleteAno..........the day I got my first car and all the freedom that came with it was an awsome day.......yup that one too tops my list........BTW every time I started my first car flames shot out from under the hood............and when I drove it underwear flew out of the rust holes in the trunk........I lived in my car for awhile.......
ReplyDeleteSER......I know what your secret is ..and by the way it's no secret.....I knew men whould answer this with that!.You're all so predictable...........
OK all women what was your best day?................
All men what was your second best day.............
SER how old where you when you got the gun? As old as the kid in Christmas story?.....It's a cool thing for a guy to be trusted into the manhood that a gun intails.........
Oh, I think first car of your own is right up there with a few others...Day I became engaged.
ReplyDeleteMy first car was a 1968 Mustang 289....wide oval tires, 'C' stripe on the side. Black bucket seats...ooooh, I loved that car.
I would have to say my wedding day, I don't know if it was the excitement of it all or the fact I was so loaded up on caffeine for not sleeping the night before, but I was one overly hyper happy chick :)
ReplyDeleteI think it was the day my first Grandchild was born (1994) ALL seven of them are WONDERFUL.
ReplyDeleteIt was pretty neat when my daughters were born also. I guess I should say one lead to the other.
I suppose my wedding day, even though I'm divorced. It was a perfect August day. My father looked up into the sky and said, "There's no clouds in your future." Dad was no Madame Zoltar.
ReplyDeleteI think that would be when my son was born.
ReplyDeleteSER how old where you when you got the gun?
ReplyDeleteAbby, I believe I was 14.
May 28th, 1972
ReplyDeleteL-1 of the Swift satellite launch was pretty good...amazing day...sunrise run on Cocoa Beach, got a site pass to the Cape, got a launch pad tour (all the way to the top of a the Delta II rocket), and spent the day exploring the Cape, going to the old historic launch pads, capped off by a big pre-launch party with lots of friends.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, the launch was delayed and I couldn't stay the several days it took to get the issues sorted out, but I sure didn't think the trip was a waste!
Yeah, my best days and geekiest days frequently coincide!
I've had some great times... I'm hoping the best is still to come!
ReplyDeleteI had THREE best days of my life, one for each of my 3 sons births......Don't even ask about the worst day of my life, its as bad as it can get:(
