Friends

I am sitting here and thinking how very, very lucky we are to have each other. When we started blogging on the JT site we found this group and cemented relationships. I think of how far we have come from those days.

When people come into your life, it is for a reason. I know that to be a fact. Thanks for being my friends and thanks for letting me disagree with your opinions, but still respecting my opinion. This what friendship is about.

Yeah, I know I am a sentimental sap...what you see is what you get. Will I ever change? Nah, you guys are stuck with me the way I am. And, I know the same way you will always be there for me, I will be there for you.

  1. I, for one, am glad to be "stuck" with you. Thanks for being my friend too. We are very, very lucky, and I don't take that lightly. I truly believe the best of the best have come to the JTI.

  2. I am honored by the company of the bloggers here. And deeply humbled. And deeply disturbed, too.

  3. If you would have told me a couple years ago that I would be part of an online group of friends, I would have told you you're crazy, but look at us now, not just friends but like family. Too cool, and better than I could have ever imagined :)

  6. A little redundant with the word Proud but that's how I feel.

  8. These blogs have REALLY been my lifeline. All of you are wonderful people and that not an easy thing to find. I have talked about MANY personal issues and NEVER got BAD feedback from any of my REAL friends. THANKS TO ALL OF YOU and MORE.

  9. I don't have many friends (my fault cause I don't like many people) but this is my way of being friendly. When I hear of heartaches I feel the pain and when I hear of good news I feel the happiness. It's therapudic (I know..learn how to spell!) to type my concerns to all. It should be interesting to meet you all. Just wait til you see ME!. LOL

  10. With a name like Sassa, I bet you're fun and you will fit right in.

  11. Sassa, don't sweat the spelling...unless we are talking about education, then we all need to pull out the dictionaries!

You'll blend into this group. I don't think we judge people based on their spelling abilities or lack thereof! (What would we do with SER?) We may harrass you a bit from time to time, but that's all. Just for fun and to keep things interesting....

Is to give someone a smile who's blue now...
    It's a very easy jest.."

  15. Barbara(aka Layla), I know how that is. Long before I blogged here, or on the Journal Times site, I was a member of another site that I'm still very active on. People there are from all over the world, too, so it's not very easy to get together in real life, although the site has seen three marriages (I think) and two children born amongst members who first met there online.

  16. Strange as it may seem, the first online "community" I was a member of was 1986...a local college bulletin board (believe Morgan ran it) and have been in at least one ever since. Some have been local where a lot of us knew each other and some spread around the world.

Hope to meet some of you soon!
