Herman's Hermits were at the SCJ picnic a few years back. Very sad that people didn't even bother to take the time to go watch. One of my longtime 45 favs was "Mrs. Brown you've got a lovely daughter"....
Herman's Hermits....Oh, kk, I had totally forgotten about them. Peter Noonan, right?
Used to be that Summerfest put these acts on the Channel 6 Stage....(OKAY, I have no idea if there is a Channel 6 Stage any longer!)....I saw Jan & Dean there and Bobby Vee and now my brain stopped. Anyway, a bunch of the old groups have appeared there.

They're still performing: http://www.paulrevereraiders.com/.
I don't know if they still have go-go girls or hop around the microphone anymore, though.
Hey, they were pretty good back in the day...

Ah, the days of my youth....
I like Paul Revere and the Raiders, kk. They had a lot of hits. I was just laughing at the 60's kitsch.
I thought one of the guys in Jan & Dean had an accident and was a vegetable, or is that just another urban legend?
I remember them more for the song "Hungry." It does take some nerve to wear those tight stretch pants in public. ;>
Well, he ended up with aphasia (sp)...but could still sing...I think he has since died...not sure though.
