Hello! I'm back again folks! Let me share a memory with you. I started listening to rock and roll in the late '70's when I was a kid. At the time, I was a Kiss freak. I had an older friend that lived in the same neighborhood as me. He had a huge collection of music. He would say to me, "You can do better than Kiss!" So we hung out at his place. Played cards and listen to music. I remember him pulling out record after record, turning me on to a wealth of music. There I was reeling it all in. Those memories pretty gave birth to my music collection.
So my friends, what memory of music you have? Was it the song that you heard on the radio at a special moment? Please tell.
This is one of my favorite tunes that I rocked out to back then...

That's a great memory! I have so many rock and roll memories and thoughts I have a whole blog devoted to the subject, its hard to pick out just one. But I do have a very clear memory of lying on floor (lavender shag carpeting, with my friend Kerry listening to Robin Trower's Bridge of Sighs.
I remember seeing The Beatles for the first time on The Ed Sullivan Show. I was only 13, but I knew that something very special was happening.
I was a huge Pink Floyd junkie. They will always be the best band in my opinion.
Although I do remember seeing the Beatles on Ed Sullivan, I was a little too young to fully understand the scope of what was happening.
Barbara, I have memories of Bridge of Sighs too! Loved that album. It was my friend's basement and a ratty old couch, no shag carpeting.

I just spent the last 10 minutes totally enjoying that awesome song, barbara. I found a vid of him in later years with some great sound quality. Thought I'd post the link if you have the time to enjoy...

KK, YES! I remember that song! I haven't thought of Tubular Bells in years. I can see the album cover in my mind. Thanks for bringing back that memory!!!! Now I will go check out the video you posted, thanks!!!!!

Orbs-I saw that episode (years later) and I understand the magnitude of the show was! It was the one that broke the Beatles into America!
