Is Wisconsin #1 at Beer Drinking?
This one is crazy....
HAYWARD, Wis. (AP) -- Shoppers in a Wisconsin grocery store got an unexpected surprise when a 125-pound black bear wandered inside and headed straight for the beer cooler.
I could understand it more if it was the middle of July and the bear popped open a cold one. I suppose the no-opposable thumb thing did him in. Poor thing.
I saw it mentioned three or four times on TV but saw nothing else (like a video) or anything. Darn. It's sounds so cute and so Wisconsin. Another thought why do we like 'cute' animals like deer and cow eyes and the haughty giraffe, but can't stand ugly animals like snakes or alligators. M-m-m-m-m
And the paper in Fl moved Hayward to Minnesota....

ReplyDeleteI'm only sorry I wasn't present for the once in a lifetime scene.
ReplyDeleteWhy didn't anyone ask if It sat by the "Hamm's Beer"
ReplyDeleteToo good, Toad. Do they even still make Hamm's?
ReplyDeleteTruly a Wisconsin tale. Did they tranquilize the bear with iChill?
HE'S BACK!!! The Hamm's Bear!!!
ReplyDelete"From the land of sky blue
wa-ha-ters..."
YES they STILL make it. I might just buy a 12 pack just to honor the bear.
ReplyDeleteNow if the makers of Hamm's were smart... they would capitalize on this!
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't doubt it, if Yogi put him up to it just for a chuckle...
