Fall comes to the south

Some of you have already seen the beautiful picture I took of the waterfalls in the Carolinas on my trip last week. This one was my favorite (notice I'm not in it!!!!) The colors were beautiful. I found that I miss the country-gal side of me. I hiked through the woods in the rain and ENJOYED IT! I had forgotten how much I loved just a walk through the quietitude of the forest.

And my trek would not have been more complete unless I saw a SNAKE. Unfortunately, I didn't have my phone or camera with me, but it was about 4-5 feet long and black and ugly (ever seen an attractive snake??). Guess that was my welcome to South Carolina!

So good to see you around! Your picture is really beautiful! Thank you for posting.

I'll have to check the stats to see if your "name dropping" of business cards has an effect.

Where are the other irregulars lately? Please post something!

We still have some color left here, too, but it's dwindling. Thanks for the pic, Beejay. I don't know what it is with you and the snakes, but I'm beginning to think it's something biblical.

Is that near Anderson?

What, Orbs, you think I'm Eve??? Oh my...oh dear...that serpent is following me all over the southeast!

kk, I'll keep dropping those little cards around FL. I will be going to a couple of antique fairs in the near future. Might even leave a couple in Mr. D's store...what the heck.

Ed, yes, it is near Anderson. We were outside of Walhalla, SC, passed through Seneca,SC.

It was some of the most beautiful country I have seen. Quaint little towns and the friendliest people in the world...of course, I'm pretty darn friendly myself.

I'll keep posting...honest!
