This one is embarrassing for me. I don't read anywhere near as much as I used to, or should. I blame the net.

1) What are you reading now?
Nothing - the net.

2) What's the last book you have read?
Poet Be Like God: Jack Spicer and the San Francisco Renaissance by Lewis Ellingham and Kevin Killian.

3) What is your favorite book or novel?
On The Road by Jack Kerouac. I believe that Kerouac was touched by God.

4) What do you often read?
The net, the newspaper when I'm eating. I visit the local news sites and Google news throughout the day. It's become an obsession, and a nasty one because the news is almost all bad.

1. Tietam Brown by Mick Foley (anyone knows of the wrestling world will know that name and it's surprising how good of an author he is especially thinking about what he has done to himself for many years)

2. The Princess Bride by William Goldman a terribly funny book as well as a terribly funny movie

3. one of those ashamed to admit things but The Last Unicorn by Peter Beagle

4. I'll have to say the internet as well.. news or what is also fun to go to imdb.com and read about funny facts and trivia about your favorite movies.. don't know why..

1. Plum Wine by Angela Davis Gardner
2. A Stopover in Venice by Kathryn Walker
3. Broken for You by Stephanie Kallos. Kind of a tie with Loving Frank by Nancy Horan.
4. Novels - mostly by women writers. (and the internet of course.)

1. I was going to pick up the vampire diaries and see what the big to-do was all about. Is it like Harry Potter, so well written, you can get past the fictional/intellect level? The vampire series is geared for young adults, but I guess their moms have become enthralled too... I don't think I will be. So, I found an article about the author and she said her fav was Maeve Binchy. I picked one up, but I'm thinking it's not gonna happen. I'm not a romance, man on the white horse, chick book, reader.

2. Last book was non-fiction, a book about nursing homes. Interesting that everyone seems to have about the same experience, no matter which pile of poo you land in.

3. Favorite book was "The World According to Garp." I've read everything by John Irving. Cathie Pelletier and Jean Auel are also great authors.

4. I, too, find the info-web THE place to read. There is such a variety of things to learn, that picking up a fiction book seems to be too much of an indulgence.

1) "Ghost Rider-Travels on the Healing Road" by Neil Peart. This book was written by the drummer from the band Rush. His 19 year old daughter was killed in a car accident and ten months later his wife died of cancer. For the next 14 months, he traveled cross continent on his motorcycle in search of himself. This is his story.

2) "Heroin Diaries" by Nikki Sixx Written by the bass player from Motley Crue. It's about his drug use and "death" by OD. He is clean now.

3) "The Lord of the Rings" by J.R.R. Tolkien I did a 28 page book report on it in high school.

4) I mostly read various blogs from all over.
