When you look back, it is amazing that a lot of the old cartoons, supposedly with children as the target market, contain references to the military, loyalty to the country and the war effort.
Btw, the site hosting that, the Internet Archive http://www.archive.org/, is a massive repository of film, music, and audio. They have stuff you will find nowhere else, like industrial films and old public education videos. Browse sometime. Check out their Wayback Machine for the Journal Times site: http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.journaltimes.com
I remember when I was in grade school I use to draw little pictures on the corners of my books or note pads. Then fan through them to make them look like a motion picture.
I wonder how many artists Walt Disney had working for him back in the day when all the cartoons where done by hand.
