Cake Decorating From Russia
These are all completely edible cakes made by a lady in Russia . All you see below are cakes that can be eaten without any part of it left. No plastics or any other artificial stuff is being used - everything is edible. Cakes by Zhanna from St. Petersburg.
Just incredible attention to detail - and then it's just going to be eaten, right? Or do they somehow preserve them so they can show them?
I'm having fun with some of my rudimentary Russian here. That's "Big Mac" spelled out phonetically in Russian on the banner above the Big Mac cake. The one just below that to the left, says "Saint Petersburg" at the bottom. "EVR" are the initials above that.
How do you make the interior of that box reflective but edible? How do you even make the box edible?
She has to have people helping her. It takes way too much time to do these types of cakes and if it was just her doing it, part of the cake would go rotten. I mean even if she kept it refrigerated, taking it in and out would have to alter the flavor of the cake. I don't know, but however she does it, it's unbelievable and amazing!
this lady has WAY too much patience for me to comprehend!
ReplyDeleteSome people have waaaaay too much time on their hands. But they look good though.
ReplyDeleteVery creative and talented. I've watched some of those cake shows on cable... amazing stuff.
