That's funny, because I was going to post a blog this past Wednesday reminding everyone that it was BS (Becker Sentencing) Day in two weeks. Then I thought it was a bit premature and decided to wait until this coming Wednesday. But I've been scooped by the Journal Times.
What I was going to say in my blog is that I still believe that Becker will serve no time in jail or prison, but that I didn't believe that as assuredly as I once had. This new article in the Journal Times, however, restores much of my faith in the belief that Becker will walk.

I read the chat. It was disgusting, gross and crude. He should do time.
Neither probation nor addiction therapy will change what one finds sexually appealing. He was very clear about what turned him on: pre-pubescent girls. He will re-offend at some point, in one fashion or another, no question about it...
The truly sad thing is the weak and powerless are always fodder. It isn't just Racine.
I really find it hard to believe that Becker could walk away from this. It is too egregious. I hope I'm right.
Just makes you wonder how many he actually had contact with. I'm really surprised no one has come forward.

The judge needs to read about the asshole in Milwaukee who was resently released, something like 4 months ago...he got caught again and is in jail again.
Let us assume for a moment Judge Stephen Simanek lets Becker off with time already spent in jail, time in “Southern Rehab” and a few years probation.
If the ‘AP’ gets a hold of Mr. Simaneks’s decision to let Becker off with probation, how will that affect his future even though he will be retired?
Will people on the street scold him when they see him?
Will he have to move out of Racine to get away from the harassment?
Will he just giggle his ass off at the people of Racine?
I can only hope that he, Judge Simanek, does the right thing and levys a punishment fits the crime!
Why o' why do I go and read the trashy comments from the ignorant at other sites who condone and support Becker the child molester? My head is ready to explode. Entrapment? They must be pedophiles themselves or are totally delusional!
