VW & Camper From 1974

This looks like it could have been fun. I never remember seeing any advertisement for them.

OrbsCorbs said...: Dang, I'm a bit of an old VW nut and I never saw one of those, either. I love the hitch on the top of the car. (I had a roof rack on one of my old VWs that a buddy rode on one night, yelling, "Zombies of the stratosphere!" at passers-by.)

My first thought was about the air cooling of the engine. It's not hard to overheat one of those if you block the vents.; March 18, 2010 at 10:45 AM
