I'm about ready to post the winners of this months
"Best Of Racine, JT Irregular edition" but...
we have 2 ties that need to be broken, so please vote for the following -
In a 2 - way tie for Best Grocery Store -
Piggly Wiggly on Eerie
and
Piggly Wiggly on Spring
Does anyone know if they are owned by the same person? If so, that would solve that one real quick :) If not, please vote and help break this tie.
ALSO, we have a tie for Best Home Improvement Store -
Menards
and
Home Depot.
This one may be hard to get a winner for since they were the only 2 voted on and
it was dead even.
Please vote and help break the ties,
thanks!

I like Pig on Spring, they are super friendly and very helpful. I've only been to the one on Eerie once.
Hubby prefers Menards, it's like his 2nd home...
I'll take Pig on Spring and Home Depot..
Pig on Erie-that's because it's just around the corner from me.
When I used to own a house, it as Menard's for me.
I'd choose Home Depot if I really had to go to one of the two.
I think all of the Pig's are owned by the same company, but they can also be franchised.
Prefer Home Depot.
What I just wrote could be VERY confusing, but the Pig used to be owned by Schultz Brothers from the Sheboygan area somewhere, but again I worked for a guy that has a brother that owned one in that area of the state, so I really don't know If it is privately owned or not? I guess I'm not sure what OWNED means? Does Roundy's own Pick & Save?
I hate the Menards song so I'm voting Home Depot. Pig on Erie is looking shabby in the produce dept these days. and I've only picked up one or two items at the one on Spring. I'll vote for Erie, but I suspect that neither one is the best, just irregular. The one on Erie also plays hard rock on their music system, which can be cool or irritating, depending upon your mood.
Pig on Spring and Menards
I vote Pig on Erie and Menard's.
Definitely Pig's on Spring.
Pig on Spring and Menards.
Now I have to go to the Pig on Spring. When the Pg on Washington went to plast, or plastic bags, I started going to Sentry because they still have paper bags and I need paper to get them to the house with my WC. Too bad Sentry has fallen flat on it's face with rotten fruit and produce.
I usually go to Menards even though I pass Home Depot on the way. This past weekend I hit HD for a new heavy duty 6hp shop vac. Rigid shop vacs SUCK! Sucked up a screwdriver, nuts, bolts and everything that wasn't nailed down!
Doesn't anyone go to Lowe's? Good prices there too.
Piggly Wiggly used to be owned by Shultz-Sav-O Company. They eventually sold off the company to individual franchises. I worked for those "gentlemen" for 12 years. Needless to say, I don't hold a high regard for their business tactics...
