I agree with much of what he says. I'm sure that every penny invested in NASA in the past has been returned to us tenfold in terms of technological advancements. Unfortunately, we've always invested more in war than science (even though science is used to make war these days). With our economy in a dump, I don't know when, if ever, we'll return to the levels of funding we once supported. And I understand that it is that "if ever" which is most scary.
