This is a cutie..(stolen, of couse) On your way to Wonderful, you're going to have to pass through All Right. And when you get to All Right, take a good look around and get used to it, 'cause that may be as far as you're going to go.
My Mini Chill is still sitting on the counter, next to the other blissful berry flavored stuff. I get the willies every time I debate downing it. I promise to give it a go.... tomorrow.
my favorite saying is from a commercial from a hospital I think - you're not too old til you're cold :) Does that mean I'm really old every winter??? :)
I think someome pre-digested it...Orbs, tell me we really don't have to drink it??? I'm begging here, buddy....what can I mix it with??? Oh dear...send me a car instead!!!!
Not really a saying, but I was reading in my book "A Fine and Private Place" by Peter Beagle and I ran across this paragraph.. got me thinking.. so I thought I would share..
"When I was eighteen or twenty, I knew everything except what I wanted. I knew all about people, and poetry, and love, and music, and politics, and baseball, and history, and I played pretty good jazz piano. And then I went traveling, because I felt that I might have missed something and it would be a good idea to learn it before i got my master's degree. ... And the older I grew, and the farther I traveled, the younger I grew and less I knew. I could feel it happening to me. I could actually walk down a dirty street and feel all my wisdom slipping away from me..."
Sorry got a little long, just liked it cause I could somewhat recognize it. Not that I ever thought I knew everything about anything but you definitely think you got it mostly figured out when you are about 18-20 and every year beyond that you start to realize of how little you actually know.
I got 2 busted ribs umpiring a baseball game. $450 for protective equipment and the ball hits me where there ain't none. Oh well. Those little white pills sure make the pain go away though.
Just caught the most beautiful crescent moon with Earth shine and Venus right by its side. I even pulled out the Galileo and was able to hold it still. Helps when you aren't shivering! Tonight EarthSky
Arf, arf!
ReplyDeleteTGIF!!!!
ReplyDeletemade it

ReplyDeleteThis is one I've always liked:
ReplyDeleteThe only difference between a rut and a grave is the depth.
TGIF... and it is almost over!
Has anyone tried their Mini Chill yet? We have to review the small stuff now if we expect to be given cars and computers to review later.

OK, OK, don't drink the Mini Chill - pour it down the drain and make up a review. I think if you mix it with a gallon of vodka it tastes better.
ReplyDeleteWhy Not, that is true. The older I get, the less I understand.
Chill: my septic system burped it back up!
ReplyDeleteAnother saying...found at a railroad crossing...The train takes 10 seconds to make this crossing, whether your car is on it or not.
ReplyDeleteShuttle launch: Better than Disney! Will post pics and a blog sometime this weekend.

ReplyDeleteOhhh, ouch, logjam! Loggy's posts should be really fun now that he is "logy" from those pills.
ReplyDeleteBeejay, be ready to stagger off to beddie bye if you mix that stuff with vodka. It knocked me out!
Maybe today I'll get brave and down it. If it wasn't for the aftertaste....
Hale, I look forward to the pix. I'm wishing I could have been there! See what strings you can pull for a January launch. The JTI is hitting the road!
Beejay, LOL at your septic system burping up the Mini Chill.
ReplyDeleteLogjam, oh man, I hope those pills work real well. That's very painful. It hurts to breathe and especially to cough or laugh.
Can't hale just beam us to Florida?
