I didn't know what to expect. I don't know what kind of odds I would have given us back then, but a lot of people were hurt by what had happened at the Journal Times site and it just seemed like something had to be done. The rest is history. :P
Too funny! It probably just means that we've become very comfortable. June 1st, 2008... much like the birth of a child, it seems like yesterday, and at the same time seems like it has always been a part of us.
I remember many times in the beginning fretting about who was spying on us or stealing from us. I fretted over how many pageloads we were getting and would we survive? It is fun to look back at our bumbling around on how to post things and not being sure what things we should even be posting.
Here is to us, a toast to brave souls that took control of a bad issue and created something very, very positive from it. To us, to friendship, to home! They will never know what they are missing...
I have to say threes are much worse than the twos.. trust me on that one.. so enjoy another year of being sweet with just a little bit need of getting your way.. The full out temper tantrums and sassing back is to come.. =)
Beautiful toast KK, might have to run and get myself something.. is Rum and Coke fitting??
Take it from a mom with even older kids... Two's and three's are nothing. Just wait until we hit puberty! Look out! Although, by then, we will all be too old to remember what kind of trouble to get into!
Beejay, I'll have some of that whine, I mean wine! ;>
Happy belated birthday!
ReplyDeleteDid you ever think it would take off like this?
