1. I think it was 2006.
2. To get to know some folks better.
3. JTI, F/B, MySpace, no Twitter, I don't get that one.
4. Nope.
1) I first started posting on an online forum in 2003.
2) I was ticked off and punched "angry" into a search engine. One of the returned hits was for Angry.com, a forum that no longer exists. I loved the interaction with intelligent and funny people. Even though Angry.com no longer is, one of its sister sites is still going and I am an administrator there.
3) JT Irregulars, of course, the local news sites, Google News, YouTube, and some others.
4) No
1. I have no idea. I'm sure I left random comments here and there, going way back.
2. I seem to always have an opinion....Hmmm. I don't always state it in person. I like intelligent debate. This is a good way to state your opinion without getting punched! :D
3. JTI (of course #1), Facebook (the shame associated with Farmville) Those are the two biggies. I'm all over the place, though. Depends on what is currently on my mind. I can sit and browse and read and learn all day.
4. Authored? No, can't remember. It was most probably something at The Journal Times.
1. I think 2006.
2. To see what people were saying.
3. Mostly here, sometimes FB.
4. Don't remember but I'm sure it was out on the JT site. It was a fun site for a while; now everyone is mean and call each other names.
1) When did you start blogging?
Hmm.. I think I had Myspace in 2005 or so.. but didn't start commenting until 2006 late around Christmas time
2) What attracted you to the world of blogging?
Just started commenting at first on JT because I was a bit home sick and read the newspaper to get a bit of home here
3) What websites do you like to visit?
JTI, Facebook, Mamapedia, Youtube and some different news sites
4) Do you remember your first blog posted?
I first commented on JT, it was about some Christmas trees that were stolen, someone had made a comment asking why people would have real christmas trees and I got an account and asked Why Not? and that's how I got my name.
The first blog that I wrote was back in 2006, I was almost 2 weeks overdue with Mina and I was seriously wondering why doctors give you a concrete due date..
1. Wow, I am not even sure...does blogging before blogs existed count? When I got to college, someone had a threaded forum up and running where you could write and people would comment on it...wasn't called a blog, but I was doing that in 1986.
2. I was in college, it was a computer things, it was cool.
3. Lots of my space science sites, NPR, my iGoogle site is very useful as I have lots of widgets that bring various RSS feeds, twitter feed, etc. all in one place. Not sure if you count that as one site or lots of sites.
4. Like I said, that would be over half a lifetime ago, so, not really!
1) About three years ago.
2) I dunno, I was just browsing around and came across the JT site and said to myself this looks fun! Been addicted to it ever since.
3) SOOO many of them! The JTI, my blog, Facebook, various other blogs, YouTube, I could go on...
4) Yes I do. It was at the JT about a bear in the woods.
