Some are going down the street in a toaster others in a cardboard box, etc.
My question is, “by watching this ad, what group of people do you think Kai is targeting”?
I have asked several people and the answers they gave me are different from what I would think.

I love that commercial. But alas it's one of many I like but can never remember what the are selling. So it's not targeted to old people.
It's 11:30 am and I just watched it again. Soooo cute! Thanks
The clothing and the 'dis or dat' seem obvious to me that they are targeting African American males. It is also a low-priced entry vehicle. (remember when that term was only applicable to houses?) Many cars are now priced equal or above the cost of my first house.
I went to the lowest discount grocery store yesterday and each bag of groceries cost me $20. How can there be so much inflation concurrent with such a recessionary time?
I think it is one of the best commercials I have seen in years, extremely catchy. I did not know the song being sung is a real song which came out several years back.
Talking with one person, they like the music and mentioned around the time the song came out is when styles of dance started changing.
I believe they are targeting both blacks and whites leaning more toward the black community. The commercial gives (to me) the impression, anyone with a hundred bucks I their pocket can race down and buy one. And the cost of the vehicle is never mentioned during the whole commercial.
I agree that they're targeting both. Rap, hip hop, and a lot of elements of urban street life are idolized by white youth.
I saw this commercial for the first time the other day.. (I haven't been watching much tv)
At first I thought it was another strange Quizno's Subs commercial.
Somehow I just can't picture a homey driving a Kia.
I've seen the commercial as well. With the rap tune, bling and baggy clothes I'd say it's being targeted to the young African-American community. Like logjam said, I can't see a homey driving a Kia.
I can see homey driving one.
First of all they would put $2,500 rims and tires on it and put a $3,000 stereo in it and turn it into one bump'in machine.
I should add...
Darken up the windows!!!!
I would like to exchange links with your site www.blogger.com
Is this possible?
