HP Rewards CEO for Lying with $28 Million

If you or I fudged documents and helped a contractor get money for work they didn't perform, we would be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. CEOs get golden parachutes.

This is a big part of what is wrong with the USA today: different standards for different people.

I've always bought and recommended HP products. Never again.

That shit makes me sick when I hear or read about stuff like that.

I noticed they never said anything about the contractor if he/she was busted. Maybe "busted" is th wrong word to use!!!

I assume that they were obligated by contract to give him the money and shares, but it's offensive when so many in our country are hurting so badly and this guy walks away with so much after lying and who knows what else.

And where you think the money comes from?

Product sales, and whatever else HP does?

glad to see that the already rich and powerful are well taken care of.. God forbid they actually have to pay for the crimes they do..

Seriously wish I didn't just buy a brand new HP printer.. sick...

Yeah, they do make good products, but, try dealing with the tech department... I'm still waiting on reprogramming discs from them. Supposed to here on Saturday, but NOOOO...they screwed up! Now I'm at the library till Wednesday. GRRR!

The only way you can deal with tech support is over-talk them (let them know you know your stuff)... or they over-talk you. The same goes with mechanics. I do okay with the techies, not so good with mechanics. Either way, it usually costs you more the less you know.
