Holy atheism. Talk like a pirate day is a direct off shoot of FSMism. How it started. On the FSM website, it has been noted that during the pirate days of yesteryear there was no global warming. Using the scientific method, it was reasoned that if we could only have enough pirates, global warming would be a thing of the past. This is how talk like a pirate day started.

I think with all the Somali pirates, this theory is proven wrong. Considering I've never seen either the Flying Spaghetti Monster or a god, I'll remain a disbeliever.
