1) What was the last movie you watched?
Don't know the name it was on when I woke up.
2) What's your perfect road trip song?
By Mitch Miller, "Show me the way to go home"
3) Where do you get your news?
JTI
4) Where do you get your music?
Comes through the speakers in my truck or my computer.
1) What was the last movie you watched?
Don't really know.. since I started back at school I haven't had enough energy to make it through a movie. Went to see Inception at the movie theater some time back.. could have been that.
2) What's your perfect road trip song?
I like Graceland by Paul Simon
3) Where do you get your news?
The internet and TV
4) Where do you get your music?
The internet or this large collecton of CDs my husband has
1. Leave her to heaven!!! LOL
2. Country Roads
3. TV or the newspaper...sometimes even on the internet!!!!
4. I'm with SER...my radio in my truck!
1. The Last song with SWMBO and DWMBO
2. Cant have just one song
3. Radio and trusted internet sources.
4. Form my collection, Itunes, Amazon, rummage sales, ebay and new discoveries from the radio (88.9 radio milwaukee!!!!)
1. Something much more bloody than I would choose for myself.
2. Born to Be Wild comes to mind... Head out on the highway, looking for adventure, in whatever comes my way!
3. I'm a news hound. I read the news online from many different sources and watch the so-called news on television.
4. I usually can get most of what I want from the library for my home collection. I like to listen to Pandora online and stream WKQX from Chicago on the internet or on the radio while in the car. Sign of the times: I can't remember when I last purchased music. It is a shame that musicians are getting screwed.
1. Killers
2. SONGS, Joe Cocker
3. Internet
4. Off my Zune
1. The Hangover.
2. Got to have the Beatles when on a road trip.
3. News - tv & internet. I like to go out on the CNN, FOX, MSNBC & Drudgereport spins things. For the real news, NPR or BBC America.
4. Like most of us, through the speakers in my car or cd player.
To see how they spin things. Geez.
1) Inglourious Basterds
2) I agree with kk - Born to be Wild
3) I get news from the internet: Journal Times, RacinePost, Journal Sentinel Online, Google News, Yahoo News. I can't stand the talking heads on TV anymore.
4) Mostly internet.
Oh, Racine Uncovered is also a great source for news. It's nice to read about what's really happening on our streets instead of the Journal Times/lying John 'official' version.
Hey Orbs
Last week when we were there Gary was driving down Taylor near Gilson and said a house was surrounded by police. I think it was Thursday evening. We never heard anything about it. Do you know what happened?
Racine Uncovered has this, "Motorcycle accident with injuries-Gilson & Taylor," http://racineuncovered.org/?p=20618, but that was Friday morning.
If you check out RU's crime maps and weekly reports, you soon realize that criminal activity is a constant in Racine. I sometimes listen to the scanner and I am floored by the volume of calls. 99% of this stuff is never reported or commented on. When I see a guy just casually walking down the street with gun in hand, I don't care what lies Mayor Dickert spews, I KNOW we're in trouble.
Anyway, I don't know what happened with the incident you mentioned. We are kept in the dark about most of these matters. An informed citizenry is the LAST thing lying John wants.
Thanks Orbs. He said he heard gunfire too but that happened when he was fishing in the harbor. Said it wasn't close though.
1) Almost Famous
2)Jackson Browne's "Running on Empty"
3) Mostly on the internet-Journal Times Online or the Racine Post.
4) I usually buy CD's at Best Buy.
