Belated Open Blog - Weekend
"I'm late, I'm late for a very important date No time to say 'Hello,' 'Goodbye' I'm late, I'm late, I'm late, I'm late And when I wave, I lose the time I save My fuzzy ears and whiskers Took me too much time to shave"
We've got that front going thru now and its raining cats & dogs (a good thing) but now the temps are dropping. Thank goodness no snow though. Have fun DA!
I was up in Flagstaff earlier this week. The mountains up there got a light coat of snow Monday night. Probably a couple more weeks before it gets this far south.
I got up before the sheriff did, wow :) the 1st hint of snow coming, and the bus will be put back in service, we need to start bouncing location ideas out there so we can make a fast get-away!!
We've been covered in white stuff for a few days now.. Although today it rained and melted most of it away.. it's going to be a long winter season I fear.
Sorry for the tease, DA. The last thing I want to do is invoke bad karma concerning winter. Every year, I dread it more. And I don't even have to shovel snow anymore.
No white stuff in Racine yet, but our run of beautiful weather appears to be at an end. The same front is supposed to give us rain and then a drop into more seasonal temperatures.
The Christmas tree (probably called "holiday tree" officially) is up in Monument Square and there are decorations adorning light poles in downtown Main St. I don't know what or if anything is lit up yet. I rarely drive through at night. Some of the holiday lights are up at the north end of the Zoo on Main. I've seen those lit at dusk, so that may have been testing.
First!!!
ReplyDeleteExpecting 5-8" of snow Saturday.
Uh oh..... My first MN snow.
I hear that MN snow is way heavier than WI snow...

ReplyDeleteI had a girlfriend tell me that one time. After I came too, she said she was just quoting for Alice in Wonderland.

Let me check...no, no snow...the sun is shining at it is a cold 58 degrees, warming to about 80 today.
ReplyDeleteWe didn't get hit too hard with rain. It's just been a very gray, damp day.
