Hello everyone! Can't believe it's Friday already! This week sure flew fast. This week's topic is about television.
1) What have you been watching lately?
2) What is your all time favorite TV show?
3) What was the last movie you watched or rented?
4) What was the last movie you saw in the theater?
Enjoy your weekend!
1. Not much TV....seems like I don't have the time...if it is on, I'll watch a few comedies or NCIS...never, ever The View! Never!
ReplyDelete2. Oh dear, I don't think I have one...boy, am I in trouble!
3. On TV? Ah, perhaps it was 'Mame' with Rosalind Russell...that's one of my all time favorites!
4. Burlesque and I loved it...God Cher can sing!
1. Oh my, here we go. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. There I said it. I also like Top Chef.
ReplyDelete2. I still think Hill Street Blues was one of the best shows ever.
3. The original "The Day the Earth Stood Still". The remake was oh so bad.
4. Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince.
1) I "watch" the History Channel and the Comedy Channel, mostly. They're on in the background.
ReplyDelete2) All-time favorite TV show? Maybe the original Twilight Zone series? Or Red Skelton Show. I also loved Monty Python's Flying Circus' TV show.
3) Predator - it's old, but was on the other night.
4) I don't remember. It's been a long time since I've been in a theater.
1. We've been watching Big Love, Medium, The Tudors, Pilars of the Earth and The Mentalist.. We get about one good show a week Pilars of the earth was a mini series actually but we just got done watching that..
ReplyDelete2. Hmmm.. I really liked The Riches.. wish they would be able to finish off the story in movie format as the show was canceled after only 2 seasons.
3. We have The Reader here that really needs to be watched.. before that it was Toy Story 3.. really cute made me cry.
4. Going to see Love and Other Drugs tomorrow as a very rare girls night out with a friend of mine.. other than that.. Inception.. and before that was Dark Knight.. doesn't happen too often anymore.. Moves are just crazy expensive here.. (around 18 dollars for a movie) After I got LASEK on my eyes the company that did it sent me movie tickets in the mail.. thought that was cool so I'm finally going to use them.. yay!!
1. Lots of the usual. Simpsons, Daily Show, Colbert.
ReplyDelete2. All time is tough since there are so many different styles of show, but the Simpsons has been around forever and the shows have so much rich multi-level humor that they stand up to repeated viewing to catch everything that is in there.
3 & 4 Tron Legacy in Imax 3d!
1. NCIS
ReplyDelete2. The Fugitive TV show.
3. Slingblade
4. That Taco Bell dog movie with my grandaughter. Hollywood Chiwawa. I don't think that's the correct spelling?
1. Not much
ReplyDelete2. Then came Bronson.
3. uhhh oh gosh, something forgettable it seems.
4. Iron Man.
1. I'm a fan of Desperate Housewives. It is about the only show I don't watch over my shoulder while I'm on the computer.
ReplyDelete2. I think maybe SNL (Saturday Night Live) or Seinfeld. I can't believe how many times I get sucked in with the reruns. The original Bob Newhart show was a scream too. They are rerunning those on the new ME channel.
3. Wow, Mary. A duplicate... I just saw the original The Day the Earth Stood Still on television. I never watched it before.
4. Up in the Air with George Clooney. (I don't get out much :)
When I saw Up in the Air, I was watching all the airports. There was only one airport in that movie that I haven't been to (Kansas City).
ReplyDelete1) I love MythBusters! Other shows that I've been watching lately are NCIS, Criminal Minds, and Law and Order SVU. I know it's a lot of murder mystery, but what the heck.
ReplyDelete2) Probably M*A*S*H*
3) Iron Man 2
4) I think it was that Queen concert movie I won tickets for in 2008.
Huck: I remember "Than came Bronson" That was a great show.
ReplyDeleteDrew: I can't watch enough NCIS. Both Zeva and Abby are my favorite "DIVA'S"
1) cash cab, house hunters international, antiques roadshow, masterpiece theater, ace of cakes, roseanne reruns
ReplyDelete2) northern exposure
3) not actually a movie- the showtime series weeds
4) ratatouille
For those of you who mentioned "Then Came Bronson" (one of my all-time favorites too), check out these 2 sites: www.michaelparks4u.com (see TCB tab on top menu bar) and www.jimbronson.com. Both are great trips down TV memory lane.
