I have an additional rant, if I may. This morning, I was behind two separate drivers on the icy roads. They were spinning their tires and unable to drive safely due to what appeared to be very bald tires. Why do we not do a general inspect of cars for safety when we re-up our licenses/license plates or when we inspect for emissions?
I remember when we put chains on the cars. If a chain broke you'd hear clunk, clunk, clunk. Then we went to studded snow tires which had to be off vehicles by April 15, except one year we had such a blizzard on April 14 they changed the date to May 15.
Yeah, ice now and we're supposed to get 4 inches of snow tonight. But we're on the back slope, there's not much winter left. A month from now I'll be blogging about the shoots coming up in the yard.
I can't wait to hear about the shoots coming up. I just spent over 1/2 hour chipping at my car windows with the edge of my scraper until my fingers were numb (even with gloves. It was so thickly glazed that even the scraper wouldn't cut through it. The ground was covered just as bad... so if you stood still too long, your feet would freeze in place. Nice place we live!

agreed... can I get a do-over of the weekend?
I just want normal.... in all aspects. I am growing weary.

Although it is not snowing here, we have gone from 60's yesterday morning to 30's with a 19 wind chill today.
Spring is only 28 days away.
Not talking weather with you guys. Nope, not gonna do it.
