Well being here in Sweden the first few years (actually probably the first 8 years) we drank a brand called Gevalia which is pretty good.. ,but me being the American I am found that they sold Maxwell House and I had to buy that first just cause it was fun.. But liked it a lot, get a lot of good remarks about our coffee so we continue with that.. although it's kinda expensive.
I usually drink the cheap stuff, anything to wake me up in the mornings... However, I have thing for the Superior Brand English Toffee Cappuccino sold at the Speedway.
Generic Colombian, usually from WalMart. Make at home. There is no way I'd pay the prices they charge at coffee shops. I splurge by using half & half for cream, though I use skim milk for everything else.
I was hitting the coffee pretty hard until three months ago when all hell broke loose with my stomach. I'm still not right, but I'm having an occasional cup of coffee now, though much more carefully. I can't drink it on an empty stomach anymore.
I have my daughter shop for me because I buy waaayyyyyy to much junk food and she buys what is on sale or ‘store brands’.
Maxwell House has a blend called “Wake Up Blend” which is pretty darn good, that is what I have been using lately.
Although, I will treat myself once I a while and go to Dunn Brothers or Wilson’s in West Racine and get a French Brazil or Celebes or something fancy to my taste. And I have them grind it; to me it’s too much fart’in around in the morning to grind up fresh beans to make a pot.
If you want a good coffee, go to Dunkin Donuts
If you want to treat yourself at home here is a great recipe from Folders coffee.

I used to drink a pot or two when my brother or father stopped over to chat. Suddenly I started to have an acidy stomach and switched to milk. That is all I drink now. I do need something to wake me up tho in the morning. I just may start again. I have a can of Folgers in the refrig that has got to be 2 years old. Maybe I'll try that one of these mornings. I LOVE the smell of coffee in the am.
I only drink one cup in the morning and Maxwell House Wake Up Blend is what I have now. I like the MH brand.
Grew up with both my parents being big coffee drinkers and that's the brand they used, so I guess it carried on.
Caribou or Starbucks, if we splurge and get a cup, I like the Mint Choc Mocha. ( Don't know the right name for it) Usually just get it around the holidays.
Ooooh love going to Wilsons.. My dad used to take me there all the time when i was a teenager.. when it was over in the building that no longer exists... Still have him send me their hot cocoa mix from time to time.. great stuff.
I'm with Orbs & Sassa I used to drink whatever coffee was handed to me while on sales calls, stomach would be rockin by the end of the day. Now all I drink is diet Mountain dew... refreshing
I'm an Aldi shopper. Started when my kids were little to squeeze a dollar. I have become so accustomed to their coffee, other stuff doesn't taste as good. When I make a pot at work, everyone raves at the smell... maybe their brand is good stuff?
I used to use skim milk, but now I treat myself to a little low fat coffee creamer: hazelnut, vanilla or some fancy-schmancy flavor just for a change. Sometimes I blend my regular grounds with a higher blend, like Kona for something different.
I think you get used to whatever brand you drink. I'd really miss not drinking coffee. When I was pregnant, they said no coffee. That was tough.
Once there was an article about the best coffee in the world in Nat Geo. The interviewer asked the plantation owner in Venezula what was the best. He said there are these birds that eat the beans and poop them out and you make coffee out of that. The best coffee in the world. The interviewer said he might try drinking that some time. The plantation owner said you are drinking it.
I have heard, mind you I haven't researched it so take it with a pinch of salt that Skim milk is not that great for you.. calorie and fat wise the difference between that and 1% is not that big for the difference in nutrients.. Skim milk is pretty low in nutrients.. When I was in Weight Watchers one of the many times I was there the leader lady told us to actually go for the 1% instead of the skim because skim is so low in nutrients that it's basically just empty calories.
The Bucket list..... Kopi luwak
Kopi luwak is the most expensive coffee in the world, selling for between US $100 and $600 per pound.[1] The specialty Vietnamese weasel coffee, which is made by collecting coffee beans eaten by wild civets, is sold at $6600 per kilogram ($3000 per pound).[
I would really like to try some...as soon as I win the lottery!

Thanks, Mary. I'll switch to 1%. Now please tell me that real ice cream is good for me.
I drank too much coffee too late the other night. I was up till 4 AM. That's not going to happen again.
