Wow, I have a "chemical engineering background," too, except that I convert Gatorade, milk, coffee, orange juice and an occasional pop into urine. I even add color with vitamin tablets.
Another thing "old folks' are good at processing is pills. I take 6 prescription ones each morning, along with a baby aspirin, a digestive probiotic, and 4 different vitamins tablets. Then I take more at night. My mom probably doubles that.
I have no chemical engineering background and I've figured out this science all on my own.... na na na nanny goat! :)
