"It does everything but wipe you.
"A lid that opens automatically as you approach? Check.
"Pulsating /oscillating bidet with integrated air dryer? Naturally.
"Adjustable-height, heated seat? But of course.
"Charcoal-filter deodorizer? Must you even ask?
"Hailing it as 'a figment of beauty and geometry' that offers 'the ultimate flushing experience,' Kohler Co. is preparing to hit the market with its latest toilet, a piece of minimalist design and high tech it calls the Numi.
"It's been four years in the making and can be yours for just $6,390. Installation is extra, but if you're handy and are watching your budget, you can always tackle that job yourself.
"'It is our most advanced toilet,' product manager Mike Marbach said. 'At Kohler Co., we are always trying to be on the leading edge, and this product is really a blend of leading-edge technology and leading-edge design, and not sacrificing one for the other.'"
$6,390? You can buy a used pickup for $6,000, spend $390 on a toilet, and start your own plumbing business. I'd be afraid to use the Numi without first taking an instructional class. Ha, toilet training, all over again.
a toilet with a remote, what will they think of next? wowsers!
ReplyDeleteHow does it know the gender of the user beforehand? Somewhere, there is a princess complaining about the prince leaving the seat up? I wonder what colors it comes in?
ReplyDeleteI'd hate to drop the controller in the toilet
ReplyDeleteHuck: lol.
ReplyDeleteMust be nice to be a CEO and rich enough like a Koch. Oh, wait, don't they own interest in the toilet paper made by Kimberly Clark???
ReplyDeleteI am pretty sure KC only makes the real cheap TP, like the 1-ply type. I am sure the big shots use the good 3-ply stuff, probably another company they own.
ReplyDeleteOh how totally low class! Toilet paper is for the little people. That chrome sprayer is a bidet. Koch's probably have servants to pat dry their washed bums with heated towels.
ReplyDeleteI had an extra electrical outlet installed below my toilet. I really want a bidet toilet seat.
Huck, Make sure it an GFI grounded outlet otherwise you'll have more than just warm buns.
ReplyDeleteSHIT that's a lot of money.
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of TP. Does anybody know If the width of a roll of TP was changed? I swear It isn't as wide as It used to be?
ReplyDeleteToad... Why should TP not be like the rest of consumer products... it's all about "get less...pay more"
ReplyDeleteSee this reference to shrinking toilet paper. The JTI provides you with EVERYTHING you need to know. Trust us!!! Mwahaahahah
ReplyDeletehttp://www.jtirregulars.com/2009/09/incredible-shrinking-toilet-paper-roll.html>
KK: Your my hero. I told my wife that they shrunk the width, and she told me "I was full of shit" I still have an old roll In the upstairs bathroom, but we don't use the upstairs for anything except storage now, so I can't even get to It to check. Thanks
ReplyDeleteOrb's: I already have to pay extra for my shoes, because they are size 14. BTW. That rumor Is a bunch of balogna. No pun intended.
Now that is a Super Pooper Scooper if I ever seen one...!
