I was wondering the same, but then again, if I was on somebody's menu for supper, I probably wouldn't let it get to me, but I think it would have to hurt, interesting question! pretty kitty outsmarted hungry kitty LOL
Bobcats end up on the tops of cactus sometimes...they paper publishes pictures of them in Tucson occasionally.
I see them on a semi-regular basis. Usually on my morning runs. I have a section that goes along the Pantano Wash trail and once a month or so a bobcat is hanging out.
One morning I came around a corner in the trail and a bobcat was less than 10 fee in front of me. I stopped and looked at it. It laid down on the trail so I turned around to go back. As I turned around, I saw another bobcat had wandered onto the trail about 10 feet behind me and was laying down. Since there was a wall on one side of me, a cliff on the other and two bobcats blocking the trail, I just waited. After about five minutes, the first one got up and wandered off. I followed it at a distance until the trail split and I could continue on. Yeah, being stalked by bobcats.
