Thank God! Yesterday I was in between Wednesday and Thursday. I even parked my car on the wrong side of the street. Then I remembered I did was (Thursday the 16) And then I,m looking for my favorite Wednesday TV shows. Finally FRIDAY!

Has anyone else noticed that gas prices are dropping - we are at $3.30 right now. What is it up there?

Johnny Carson was hilarious. Watching that clip reminded me about fashion. Remember when everything was a dress up event? I recall getting all dressed up, tie and all when we were going to fly on a plane, now look at the attire.

I wish gas was $3.30 here. Like all the previous ones, the latest inquiry/investigation into spiralling gas prices found no bogeyman to blame it on. Must be an act of God.

Actually, I wish gas was 25¢ a gallon, like when they had prices wars. And remember savings stamps? And attendants who checked your oil?

Orbs, I remember 25 cent a gallon. I use to work at the Shell station on the corner of Washington and Lathrop in the olden days. The owner would get pissed at us if we didn’t check the oil in every car. And if we saw a low tire, we had to mention it to the car owner and ask if we should fill it back up for them!

You could also buy a pac of Marvel Cigarettes for a quarter back then!
