Sarah Brightman - "Anytime, Anywhere"
That turns my crank. I've had a thing for female vocalists for years now. I loved the Lilith Fairs. To me, men's voices sound dull by comparison.

Orbs, I agree, I do like the female voice more. I tried to google one I thought you might like, her name was Jane Olivor, but the search gives me a singer from Brooklyn, NY. I am certain the one I liked so much was European, back in the early 80's. I should of asked Why Not if she was an ABBA fan, but she is probably too young to be a big fan.
Funny, I much prefer the male singing voice, when it is good. This woman has quite the voice, though. wow.
I was thinking ( not even in the shower) I do have some male voices I have always liked. Roy Orbison, Freddie Mercury, Robert Plant, Al Green, Steven Tyler, Philip Bailey and of course KK's fav has got to be Paul. lol
I like the Middle Eastern sound there. Reminds me of the Jimmy Page/Robert Plant reunion thing that happened in the '90's where they did their acoustic set featuring an Indian singer singing a duet with Plant in The Battle of Evermore That was brilliant singing there!
My collection mostly consists of male singers, however the female singers that I adore are Stevie Nicks from Fleetwood Mac, Ann Wilson of Heart, Grace Slick from Jefferson Airplane/Starship, Chrissie Hynde of the Pretenders, Melissa Etheridge, Janis Joplin and Cathy Richardson. Just to name a few.
my husband has a HUGE crush on Ms. Brightman.. I do enjoy her voice, but my husband as a small child would listen to the original Phantom of the Opera soundtrack (where Sarah Brightman plays Christine) basically daily and act out the play with his GI JOES..
As for ABBA they are a bit before my time but you cannot escape ABBA living in Sweden.. They are the pride and joy of Sweden.. as for being a fan.. not really but I do give them props.. they were good at what they did.. just not really my taste..
If Sarah Brightman sang for me, I would do anything she asked. Anytime, anywhere.
