Lucky you, it is a beautiful song to have stuck in your head. I always liked Cyndi Lauper. She sings with such emotion. I always loved her confidence to be herself and wished I could be more anti-norm.
I vaguely recall an interview where she may have said that was her real mother in the video. Of course, my memory is not so good....
The brain sure is a crazy thing. You can’t even think of a song, but when it comes on the radio you can sing it word for word. I wish I had the power of “recall” whenever I want...I could be dangerous!

It hasn't left my head, but like kk said, it's rather pleasant. Certainly better than whatever godforsaken Christmas jingle will be stuck in there a month or two from now.
