Riders on the Storm
Today's weather was just nasty out there! 46 degrees-windy, rainy, cold-just plain miserable...Kind of day just to stay at home curled up in a blanket and watch a good movie, except the fact I was out to the library to pick up more CD's. While there, I noticed monstrous waves crashing onto the rocks on the lakefront. A perfect photo opportunity.

Nice pics drew, but damn, you must have gotten wet or frozen your butt off!
When the wind blows out of the northeast, the waves crash against the rocks spectacularly. A drive down Pershing Park Drive can be beautiful and/or dangerous.
Thank you for the pics, drew.
Those waves are a rockin...so don't come knockin...Nice pics Drew.
Wow. Thanks Drew!
Nice pics!! It looks cold!
Thanks guys! I did get a little wet there, but more chilled to the bone when taking these pics...and I stayed in the car!
I saw Chicago was hit pretty hard along the lakeshore. I was wondering if we were seeing some action. Thanks for the pics, they are very cool!
