Hello everyone! Welcome back to Four for Fridays after a week filled turkeys and touchdowns! Sorry for a late start, had the day off and decide to sleep in a little. Here are some random questions....
1) Anyone brave enough to shop on Black Friday?
2) What do you do to get yourself through a long winter?
3) What do prefer, Christmas or Thanksgiving?

1. No, but they dont have that whole phenomenon (thank goodness for spell check) here, but even if it did I dont think I would do it, I dont handle crowds too well, a bit of a phobia of mine..
2. This year I have my happy light I'm hoping with help.. LOTS of vit. D plenty of computer time, busy with kids and house and bitch about the weather as often as I can.. dream myself away to warm places and swear that one day I will save up enough money to take that vacation..

1. I might have to go to PetSmart...ahem...don't expect crowds there...and, of course, Publix (grocery store).
2. I live in Florida. Our winters are not long at all. Cool front next week, means two days of high 60's, then back into the mid to high 70's. For those two days, I'll be decorating the tree.
3. Actually, Thanksgiving. Christmas to me is always a let down; although, with Dan in my life, it is so much better.
4. Shoes???? What are shoes??? I live in flipflops and I have not the slightest idea which one I put on first. I don't even have to look down to put them on! LOL.
Geez...Is it Friday already, what happened to Thursday? Well I'll give it the old college try.
1. I don't eat sweets and I don't shop anytime.
2. 5th's, need I say more?
3. Right now, neither, but absolutely Thanksgiving...I hate all of that gift giving crap.
4. I had to think about this one...I think the right, no maybe the left, I'm not sure...Can I get back to you on this one, Drew? I will make an effort to make a mental note as to which one goes on first and see if any pattern develops.
1. Yes but only to local stores.
2. I've taken up sewing again so that is how I will spend the winter. I'm hopeful I'll actually make something.
3. Christmas for sure.
4. The right one usually. I wonder if it is because I'm a leftie?

3. Honestly? While it is nice to have company and special things to do and decorations, (blah, blah, blah) I'm glad when the holidays are over.
4. Golly, I think it is the right one, but I'm shooting Mary's theory down since I'm right handed.
Correction, I just noticed: I put my left shoe on first, and I'm right handed.
1) Nope, not me.
2) I used to get really depressed during the winter months, especially when I had no one around. Since my girlfriend came into my life, it has gotten much easier.
3) Christmas. It seems to have a more of a family meaning to me than Thanksgiving.
4)Either or. Whatever shoe that is closest to me.

2. sleep and work and sleep some more, layer up with lots of warm fuzzy layers and curl up watching stuff
3. Christmas for the decorations, as far as family goes, we can be dysfunctional for any holiday, we don't discriminate!

Sorry I am late getting this done today. I had to be at work at 7:30am. I am worn out today.
1) Not me. I would rather wait until everyone is out of the stores and go at night.
2) Stay inside as much as I can. I do not like the cold weather.
3) I like Christmas more. Because of the beautiful decorations.
4) What ever one I grab first.
